- A Death Notification Form is obtained from the doctor who attended the deceased.
- Obtaining A Death Certificate
- when death occurs in hospitals are registered by the staff at the hospital.
- Deaths which occur at home or at a nursing home should be registered with the local registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages by a relative of the deceased or a person who was present at the death.
- The person who registers the death must have the Certificate of the Cause of Death and have it signed by the Medical practitioner.
- The family discuss the arrangements regarding the date and venue of the funeral.
- The choice of traditional burial or cremation is agreed.
- if a new grave has to be purchased, we can arrange an appointment for the family to select the grave.

Lawless have extensive experience in arranging for Non-Religious Funerals. We can advise both on suitable celebrants and locations.
A non-religious service is without any religious content and is designed by the family with the assistance of a civil celebrant or Humanist celebrant. The service will usually consist of music, eulogies, poems and words of remembrance.
Pre-Paid Funeral
A Pre-Paid Funeral Plan allows any person the opportunity to plan in advance and to make financial provision for a funeral sometime in the future.
